How to use My Kasi
My Kasi helps you find a place to stay, someone to help you, or piece work close to home — and to post your own room, business or job. Everything works with WhatsApp, so you do not need to create an account.
The short version
Choose your kasi, find what you need, and tap WhatsApp to talk to the person. Nothing is paid inside the app — you always deal directly with the landlord, business or person posting the job.
Looking for a place to stay
- Open Housing at the bottom of your screen.
- Pick your kasi at the top so you only see rooms near you.
- Tap a room to see the price and details.
- Tap WhatsApp to chat directly with the landlord. Never pay a deposit before you have seen the room.
Looking for a service
- Open Services at the bottom of your screen.
- Choose your kasi and the kind of help you need.
- Tap WhatsApp on the listing to ask for a quote.
- Agree the price first, then let the person do the work.
Looking for piece jobs
- Open Piece Jobs at the bottom of your screen.
- Choose your kasi to see work close to home.
- Tap WhatsApp on the job to offer your help.
- Jobs are taken down after 7 days, so check often.
Posting your room, business or job
- Tap Post on the home page.
- Choose what you are posting: a room, a service or a piece job.
- Fill in your details and your WhatsApp number so people can reach you.
- A piece job is free and stays up for 7 days. Rooms and services are paid for, and we will WhatsApp you the payment details.
- Your listing goes live as soon as your payment is confirmed.
Staying safe on My Kasi
- Always meet in person and view the room or the work before paying anything.
- Never send a deposit, airtime or EFT before you are sure.
- Tap the report button on anything that looks wrong, and we will take it down.
- Only trust the WhatsApp number shown on the listing.
